I am trying to find how to read the joystick ports. I found an explaination of the ports over on GEnie, but it explains it in C. I am using GFA Basic, and don't understand the C language to translate. Could someone tell me if I can do this in GFA Basic... The joystick report is stored in decimal location 3592. But before it can be read your must make the calls Bconout(4,0x12) and Bconout(4,0x14). Then afterwards, Bconout(4,0x08). This turns the mouse reporting off, then sets the intelligent keyboard to poll each j-stick port. This info comes by way of Kenn Johnson on GEnie...(K.E.JOHNSON) Can anyone help? Thanks in advance... reply directly unless you think others might be interested. Ed EJGEORGE@SUNRISE Syracuse University
