[comp.sys.atari.st] Help with port of UNIX-C to Laser-C

jlong@afit-ab.arpa (Jeffrey K. Long) (02/14/89)

I am trying to port some programs over from the Science.Utah.Edu
ftp achives. In particular, I am trying to recompile some c-programs
under Laser-C to get a dvi driver for my ST and HP DeskJet.
Anyway, the C source code is designed to be transportable to many
different host machines. I remember asking a similar question once
and got a reply from someone about the main change that was needed
to get this stuff to compile under Laser-C (Megamax) had to do with the
UNSIGNED16 and UNSIGNED32 statements in the original code which
Laser-C doesn't seem to like. Does anyone out there have much
experience in crossing Unix stuff over to the ST via Laser-C or
Megamax? Please reply via e-mail if you can offer any help! Thanks!!

I believe what you are looking for is this:

#typedef (unsigned int) UNSIGNED16
#typedef (unsigned long) UNSIGNED32
