Has anyone found the time machine or the secret room(s) in the castle? If so, could you please tell me how? I have gone through all of the conventional rooms and have (I think) looked at everything and tried most things to the objects. I believe that the cabinet/bureau in the office downstairs has something to do with it. I think it has to move and the lab is on the other side. What does everyone think about the user interface? I think it is poorly designed, difficult to use (as you have to try everything to get some response it seems) and a waste of time. Granted, I would not have bought the game if it was interactive text, but I was told that the gameplay and user interface was much better than that of Captain Blood, so I bought CQ and am very disappointed. However, my roommates and I would still like to finish the game. Thanks!! *************************************************************************** ferneau@silver.bacs.indiana.edu * Mark Ferneau rutgers!iuvax!silver!ferneau * ferneau@silver.UUCP * 'This Space Intentionally left blank' ***************************************************************************

Mark Ferneau asked for help with ChronoQuest.. Have you gone downstairs yet..? The only use for the office is to obtain the one object that's moveable in there. Going downstairs will subject you to more of this game's illogical design.. Unfortunately, I won't be able to help much beyond the first trips in the Time Machine.. the abysmal interface and the sadistic copyprotection made me give up and sell the game at the last user group swap meet... ...and I felt bad about the poor shmuck who got stuck with it...
