Thanks to everyone who replied to my message about my Broken ST.... The problem did turn out to be a bad solder joint on my 1meg upgrade, so if anyone else is having problems with their system giving 2 and 4 bombs, then rebooting forever, and you have the 1meg upgrade with piggybacked chips, check the solder joints first.. Apparently, already flaky solder joints come undone when the machine has been running for a long time and gets very hot. All it takes is to go over your solder connections with a magnifying glass and fix the ones that look really cheesy. Thanks again for the help
