Regarding the recent probems with mice, I shouls probably talk about the problem I have just being having with mine. On Thursday morning, I awoke to find that it would not move up, yet it would move down. After some ex- perimentation, I found that the problem seemed to be allievated by tightening or loosening the four screws that hold the mouse together. I now have it working once more, although the amount of clicking that the left mouse requires is now negligible. I have replaced it with a MALAYSIAN mouse, as previously I had a TAIWANESE mouse. I do not if one or the other is better, or if this "fix" for the TAIWANESE mouse will work for others, but I offer it none the less for your edification. Kevin-john Conway ...a librarian from hell... My mouse was on the verge of giving up the ghost. I would have to click many times for it to recognize the click. I took it apart and squirt some 'tuner tonic' from Radio shack on the microswitches and it is as good as new. I bought my 520 st when they first came out, so my mousie is just wearing out, I think. _ _ Ms. Pat Coffey |_) (_ San Diego State University |
