"We have two sick mice for our Atari ST; one has a problem with the cord (a common problem, we are told). Does Atari have some policy concerning the repair or replacement/exchange of slightly damaged mice?" Federated in Texas has been exchanging mice for sick via a price of $49.00 less 20%. That's quite good. However, when I attempted to do the exchange, all the Federated stores in the Dallas/Fort Worth area were out of the mice. SIGH. The problem with my mouse was a dead IC on the mouse's circuit board. Larry Rymal <Z4648252@SFAUSTIN.BITNET>

Concerning the replacement of dead mouses, the latest info I have on the Atari exchange program is that they will exchange an ST mouse for $25. Contact Atari Corp., Customer Relations Dept., 390 Carribean Dr., Sunnyvale, CA 94089 (There is a "Door #" to the address which I forget now, but it seems that mail to this address gets there anyway..) This "Exchange Program" has been one of the few "shining stars" from Atari Corp. in recent years. If you have ANY dead Atari equipment, contact them FIRST.. before paying high repair or replacement prices (like from Federated gak!) This program would be even more remarkable if Atari would publicize its existance... BobR
