"In an attempt to avoid this situation..   I, too, just received my Mac Sac.
I DO need a finder/system disk... how do I get one of these LEGALLY?"

    I'm not sure about what is required for the Magic Sac and whether it can
run the latter SYSTEM/FINDER or not, but going to an Apple Dealer might be of
help.
