[comp.sys.atari.st] Metafont for ST

lean@sbcs.sunysb.edu (Lean L. Loh) (03/12/89)

	I have received quite a lot of mail regarding the Metafont program
(and misc files) that was posted recently on comp.binaries.atari.st

	I do not have the sources currently. I got them (everything) from
John Dunning who is the one that did the port.   { THANKS, John !! }

	Yes, I forgot to send Steve the definition files (.mf) for roman,
math, etc. I'll post them here in the next couple of days :)

Some asked about where the Epson and Atari modes are defined. I'm not
quite sure, but i think it's already pre-loaded in the program itself.
They worked just as advertised!

	Generating the fonts takes about 15-30 minutes per font size/type.
Be warned - if you use DVIST, you can get carried away and use days' worth
of CPU time to generate lots of fonts for it. But they're worth it in the
end, though. Mag=2000 in DVIST is really cool !!
