[comp.sys.atari.st] Kermit in uw

I have tried to use the Kermit feature in UW, but it keeps timing out.
I tell kermit "send file" and from UW, I select kermit, and recieve.
The file mode is set the same on both sides as well.
What am I doing wrong?
