I have written a termcap for a PR1ME PT-200 vdt and have a problem when using VI. Each clear screen and home command is followed by 7 linefeeds when the number of lines is defined as 24. If I set the number of lines <= 17, I don't get the linefeeds. The escape sequences are sent correctly, I'd just like to get rid of the superfluous linefeeds. I tried redefining the pad character just in case VI was inserting them, but I still get the linefeeds. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
