When creating a macro with Gulam's ue, if the first character of macro is a space, then it will not be echoed to the screen even though ue will record the space as part of the macro. So if you do the following: CTL-( <SPC> <SPC> CTL-) ue will only insert one space, but when you execute the macro, ue will insert the correct number of spaces (2). cheers, -c +-------------------------------------------------------------------------+ |Charles S.
