I was on a sort of tight budget when I bought my ST (actually, I spent over $700 on music software - no flames, please!), so I am one of the dozen or so people who actually does not use that Microsoft program. (Is it Word Perfect?). So, I got that PD program of PD programs, 1st Word. Now I'm back at school, and my folks have an ST. My mother is trying to use the computer (first time user and all), and the phone bill looks pretty bad, since I have to tutor her over the phone. So, is there a manual available? How can I get it? Another question - is there a PD word processor available for the ST which saves formatting instructions and text separately, so that the text portion is just straight ASCII? I can't edit binaries with 1st Word, and it looks like I need to do just that. Thanks in advance.
