I tried to post a reply to Friesen%PCO@BCO-MULTICS.HBI.HONEYWELL.COM
but got a bounced error message.
At any rate, I have a DeskJet, have had one since August of last year
and totally love it. Buy cheap Xerox photocopy paper and recharge the
ink cartridges with Skip fountain pen jet black ink and the user will be
in blissful business.
Speed for standard ascii is fast--240 CPS on draft (ha! looks just
like daisy but a little light) or 120 CPS for letter quality (very crisp).
Friesen asked about ALT/HELP screen dumps. I don't do that. I'll
capture the screen first, load it into TimeWorks Desktop Publisher and
print from there. The control is MUCH better.
