Yes, the atari rumor is certainly a joke. (I just pass it along, i dont write it). But here is something i'm really wondering about. MacWorld April 1989... Page 55 an article introducing the first real MacClone. Nowhere does it say that this is an april fools day joke, but it can't be for real. The article explains how IBM got Microsoft to write apple roms and how it's all legal because they hired people who never worked with/for apple to do it. Most of the article seems reasonable accept two things... delivery april 1st, cost=$1000. Ha. Well, assuming this is a joke, does anyone know of MacWorld pulling this type of thing last year?
