Hello Chris Edington. Whether you need to just unARC those files, depend on whether they are UUEncoded or what. If they are, then read my other reply Re: UUE. which I sent. I can send you the documentation for the ARC.TTP program if you want it. Either reply direct to me or to the digest. I would offer more help, but as yet, I have not been very successful with getting anything out of BITNET. What server are you using, and what commands do you use. I have sent the following commands in a subjestless and without a disclaimer (See below) and I still get errors. INDEX INFO-A16 or index info-a16 INDEX PROG-A16 or index prog-a16 and I get the return mail saying that both these lists are unknown by the LISTSERV. Any comments other than those requesting for ARC documentation, please send to the digest. Hello again,
Does anyone know about transferring files from bitnet to ST. I am
trying to get files from the PROG-a16 and what I am going to do is upload the
files to my vax account. Then transfer the files to a 3 1/2 disk on an IBM pc
using kermit on the vax. Will I then just have to unarc the files using ARC.TTP
on my st or what do I have to do? Please help???????
