Does anyone know of reviews, etc. in DTP magazines or elsewhere that I can use to convince people around here about how good it is? BTW, what is the latest on the font agreement? advTHANKSvance Pavneet Arora ...!utgpu!rom!pavneet Royal Ontario Museum 100 Queen's Park Toronto, Ontario M5S 2C6 (416) 586-5626

The April issue of ST-Express had a long-ish review of Calamus AND a response to the review by the president of Calamus. %%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%% % Andy Cassino % % uucp: hplabs!hplsla!andyc domain: andyc%hplsla@hplabs.hp.com % %%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%

The latest (May 1989) issue of START has a review of Calamus which pretty well reflects my experience with it, i.e. its close to if not the best. Calamus Plus, with fixes for the few bugs and graphics rotation added, along with some other things will be the best DTP program available. Add to the package the fact that ISD is selling a direct Linotronic interface which takes the place of the approx. $20 raster image processor, and you have a package that a lot of printshops are investigating with interest.
