After purchasing Tune Up!, i've yet to yank it out of its shrink wrap lest in its use i destroy a partition or two... i've heard both raves and words of extreme caution about this product. Anybody out there recommend it? Any caveat emptors ? WHat is the most recent version? I seem to have bad luck lately with all my "new" software being "old".... -kevin formerly a360ad@blake.acs.washington.edu

Tim Purves of MichTron has just finished updating Tune Up! Contact MichTron to find out its availability. From what I understand, Tim has done a lot of repairing and improving. SHould be veery good. - mike -- for (;;) : Use ATARINET, send an interactive do_it(c_programmers); : message such as: : Tell UH-INFO at UHUPVM1 ATARINET HELP University Atari Computer Enthusiasts : University of Houston UACE

The most recent version is 1.3. The cause for the different reports is that the first released version of TuneUp was unfortunately sensitive to some selected partition sizes. That was fixed in the second released version. dgc From article <1702@blake.acs.washington.edu>, by bissiri@blake.acs.washington.edu (Moja Fritzah): > After purchasing Tune Up!, i've yet to yank it out of > its shrink wrap lest in its use i destroy a partition or > two... i've heard both raves and words of extreme caution > about this product.
