" Just a thought concerning the (seemingly) heavy usage of the archive, would it be easier if anybody who wanted anything ask all on the net if they have it and if so to send it? I realise that it could end up with the requester (??) getting a load of the same stuff or alternatively, if when somebody gets a big piec of software from an archive, informing the net for info. I kniw that I wouldn't mind doing this, any thoughts from anybody else??" I personally think that this would be a great idea. I live in the boonies here in East Texas at a small university and we have no access to GEnie, Compuserve, or for that matter, ST clubs. The List Serve is nice, but I've yet to receive a file in spite of all requests to the Canada01 server. There is a lot of PD out there from the commercial services. In case anyone comes across something really great, maybe he should announce it. One problem that I have is the ability to process files received since they have been converted to ASCII. It would be great if someone would post the GFA converter program here in .LST format. Don't say get it from the server. It don't work that way. I've yet to get a file from Canada, especially the GFA conversion program. Larry Rymal <Z4648252@SFAUSTIN.BITNET>
