[comp.sys.atari.st] GEM metafile format

Someone at my workplace wants to output .GEM files to a Talaris laser printer
(on a PC system running GEM). He wants to know the structure of .GEM meta-
files to write the driver. Can anyone point me to a source for metafile
structure information?

If or when you get this information will you please post it to the net.
Everyone who producess or handles these metafiles seems to have different
ideas about the correct format. This is so frustrating!
