"Easel/ST is a small, slightly-hard-to-find program that will do just that. You give it DEGAS pictures for whatever resolution you'd like to boot up in, and Easel will load it as your Desktop image." Might also mention that NeoDesk gives the option for desktop pictures. They can be for either RGB or MONOCHROME configuration. Larry Rymal <Z4648252@SFAUSTIN.BITNET>

They can be for either RGB or MONOCHROME configuration. Yes, but NeoDesk is a replacement for the real GEM Desktop. As such, it runs as an application under GEM, and it simply uses the wind_set call to set its own desktop while it is active. EASEL/ST actually alters the appearance of the native ROM-resident GEM Desktop. -- Computer Fenestrations Bob Breum Post Office Box 151 {uiucuxc|hoptoad|petsd|ucf-cs}!peora!cmpfen!bob Lake Monroe, FL 32747 USA +1 407 322-3222 "C is the new BASIC"
