and Easel will load it as your Desktop image."
Might also mention that NeoDesk gives the option for desktop
pictures. They can be for either RGB or MONOCHROME configuration.

As such, it runs as an application under GEM, and it simply uses the wind_set call to set its own desktop while it is active.
