I have a program which profiles other programs. It's called prof2,
and its banner says it was written in March, 1987, by David Rowley.
It's in the public domain ("freely copyable, please include this
message, etc.") and appears to be written using Alcyon C.
Does anyone have source to this? Or a version newer than 1.0? I would
especially like to make it work with MWC 3.0 symbol tables. It seems
likely that it works with MWC 2.x symbols, since the field for a symbol
is 16 chars long and it analyzes the program for what type of symbol
table it has, but it doesn't grok MWC 3.0 symbols.
