A  friend  of mine  (not on the net)  recently  inherited  a set of very old
silverware.  The set is not large, but rather contains many unusual  pieces.
She is interested in knowing how to use these  utensiles and has had no luck
in the cooking, etiquitte, entertaining and collectibles sections of several
large  bookstores.  There are lots of books  which  identify  maker's  marks
and/or pretend to give the value of silverware.  That's not the point.  What
she wants is to discover the NAME and USE of each piece.  If you know of any
publication or source for such information, please email a response.
