I think that ICD has some later ahndlers that only work with their specific interface....it checks for the ICD host adapter and if its not ICD it won't run. In past I have experimented with ICD software and found that it works quite well, except it had no provision for mapping out bad sectors reliably! I find Supra utilities to be much more reliable....also Atari has just released their HDX 3.00 and this is a good package with a new HD handler that can handle unlimited partitions and also handle partitions larger then 32MB from within GEM. I tested the software on the Atari host adapter and on a Supra host adapter with great results! Only problem is that you got to know your HD configurations and if you are using SCSI controllers with more then 1 drive , the Atari handler won't recognise it! Hopefully Atari will fix this handler to access LUN beyond 0 simmilar to all other HD handlers. --- * Via ProDoor 2.9a --- MaS Relayer v1.00.00 Message gatewayed by MaS Network Software and Consulting/HST Internet: robert.rasmussen@canremote.uucp UUCP: ...!tmsoft!masnet!canremote!robert.rasmussen
