Problems problems problems I recently acquired a mitsubisih m4853-112u 5.25 disk drive, and attempted to interface it to my 520STFM. Now the first problem that occured was that the drive select line from the ST was not pulling the drive line down to 0v (true), so I buffered the line and now that works fine, However .... Now the desk-top refuses to acknowledge the existance of this second drive, even though at boot-up the drive is selected and the head sent back to track 00. So to the question... Is there any form of drive sensing from the ST and if so which line does the ST use to detect a second drive...?????
