I have recently acquired a PD Mac emulator called MacBongo. Unfortunately all t he documentation is in German, and I can't quite sort out how to use the thing. If anyone has used this successfully, I would be grateful for any lucid instruc tions (in English!). David Cooper. Dept of Music. Leeds University

Leeds University "MacBongo" is NOT a public domain Macintosh emulator. It is a pirated copy of an old (almost 3 years), and very buggy, version of the "Magic Sac" which is a copyrighted program sold by Data Pacific. Most versions of the "MacBongo" also include pirated copies of the Macintosh 64K ROMs which are copyrighted by Apple (the ROMs are read in from a file). If you want a Mac emulator buy a "Magic Sac" or a "Spectre 128". Dan Moore AT&T Bell Labs Denver dlm@druwy.ATT.COM
