I'm a novice using the ST system, and I know some people out there can answer some of the questions I have, so here goes...... First, I was wondering how much getting a complete system to emulate the PC (PC Ditto II, 5 1/2" drive, switcher from 3 1/4", etc.) on a 1040ST would cost, and how compatible PC Ditto II is with IBM software. Second, what is the difference between Magic Sac and Spectre GCR and how much would that cost to be able to emulate a Mac? Finally, I was wondering if someone could forward names of some application programs that run on the ST that you like but aren't found on the IBM (I would like some more stuff to justify buying a 1040 to my parents). Anything else about emulating an IBM or Mac or the emulation programs would be appreciated.
