I recently purchased ST Music Box, by XLEnt Software, from a local dealer. It was Version 1.0 Color, (c) 1986. I can't help but wonder whether there is a newer version of this which addresses the following annoying problems and limitations with the software: 1. You cannot exit either the editor or printer programs without rebooting the machine. 2. You can only view one measure at a time when editing. 3. You can print only one measure per staff when printing multiple voices. 4. Successive notes of the same pitch are slurred together when played. 5. All accidental notes have accidental markings, *even if* the same accidental note occurs earlier in the same measure. Are there ways around any of these? What is the latest version of the software, and does it fix these? Any input would be appreciated.
