No, not the sort that spreads Fear And Loathing. I've come across the term in Doonesbury (the UK newspaper The Guardian carries it), and it puzzles me. It seems to be some kind of student character. I can catch most of the jokes in Doonesbury (I think), but the occasional transatlantic expression catches me out. Please respond via e-mail.
