Does anyone know if Atari ever fixed the flow control problem in the last Developer's RAM version of TOS 1.4?? I recently purchased a new US Robotics 9600 baud modem which will go as fast as 14,400 buad BUT it requires flow control. I am told that the USR 9600 HST modem runs at the higher speed just fine on a Mega ST using TOS 1.2. But, it doesn't work with the Dec 1988 disk-based TOS 1.4. Could someone at Atari tell me if this problem has been solved?? Richard (9600 ain't fast enuf, I want 14.4 KBps!!) Covert

There was a problem with flow control in the original ROM TOS. It didn't work at all. That was fixed in Mega TOS. -- ||| Ken Badertscher (ames!atari!kbad) ||| Atari R&D System Software Engine / | \ #include <disclaimer>
