system : 1040STf tos 1.0 (25.11.85) turbodos 1.0.5 loaded 2 Harddisks; unit 0 = megafile60, 4 partitions unit 1 = SH204, 2 partitions AHDI version 1.7, boot from unit0 partition 1 folder limit at 1040 (using folderxxx.prg) problem: partion 2, unit 1 has no items at all, but show info indicates circa 9 Meg used and 800K free 0 folders, 0 items history since last reset: zooed several folders only one problem, one file gives READ ERROR this file is GULAM.PRG (v3.0.5 I think) but I could execute it normally) after that I transferred several megs form unit 0, partions 4 to unit 1 partion 2, no errors were reported To avoid problems with folderlimit I reset the computer, still no problem here after the reset I open a window for partion 2 of unit 1 and it showed no files Questions: Does anyone experienced such a problem? Does anyone no what could have caused the problem? Does anyone no how to retrieve the information on the partion with minimal los of data?
