[comp.sys.atari.st] looking for a GOOD vt100 emulator to use on mainframes

cwilliam@umd5.umd.edu (Christopher Williamson) (07/08/89)

I am looking for a good vt100 emulator to logon UNIX maimaainframes.

It must know about reverse video and underlining, and bold and flashing
as well would be a plus.

It MUST allow GOOD full-screen use of vi, gnumacs with no problem.
FLASH and ST-TERM just dont deal with emacs and vi properly when
lines > 80. My friend's Amiga vt100 emulator works fine, but I prefer
my keyboard. Anyone out there can help me?

I would prefer a simple emulator with no frills, I know there are several
in the PD. I would be very grateful if someone could email me or post
the source, binary, or if nothing else a name of some software.

Thanks in advance.
