I am looking for a good library for working with various data structures and data bases within C. I am writing some of these (for linked lists and simple binary trees) but am wondering if I am wasting my time recreating the wheel. I would like a package something like to database tools for Turbo Pascal on the PCs but perhaps at a lower level. Specifically, I need stuff to work with various forms of linked lists, trees, hashes, and especially B+Trees. (As well as the usually sorting routines.) If someone can save me some time by suggesting a good package (either PD or commercial) or book which contains routines I could port, I would be greatly appreciative. Assuming that no such package is available, can anyone give me individual routines along these lines. If there is interest (e-mail me please) I will collect, document, and post the resulting library in about 4 or 5 months (when I get back from my work term). Steven W.
