Could someone in the 'know' make a recommendation or mini-review
on the various accelerators? After reading various comments, I'm
not sure what the alleged best one is.
I get the impression that those with caches are not good to
use due to the fact that not all programs can handle that
technique. Yet, the cached accelerator appears to give the greater
speed.
The cost savings on the ones without caches is significant.
At any rate, I'm a bit confused. I'll be going to the
World of Atari at Dallas and want to buy the 'correct' accelerator.
If anyone can make some recommendations.... Also, in the
discussion, let's not bring the Turbo ST into the evaluation. I
already plan on getting that. I'm only confused with the
accelerator.
