Hello everyone, NeoDesk 2.04 is such a quantum leap over the standard desktop, that words really don't do justice. I just received an update to version 2.00 and cannot believe the improvements. Dig this: HOT KEYS! Yep, we've got hot keys with NeoDesk. What a product, what a programmer Dan Wilga must be! In short, NeoDesk 2.04 should be *required* for anyone having a hard drive. Its ease of use and powerful versatility makes me in no hurry for the vaporish TOS 1.4. There is a real minor flaw, though. And I wish that someone on GEnie could mention this to Dan Wilga since I don't have access to GEnie. When using the ALT/ARROW key method for mouse substitution, due to the more often than not dead ST mice, <ALT><INSERT> does not run the program selected. Instead, the user gets a screen dump. Identical maneuvers from the standard GEM desktop result in the program selected running. Substituting keys for a dead mouse is only a temporary solution, but when needed, a real saver. It would be nice if NeoDesk could be used during this emergency situation. If anyone here could mention this to Dan, it would be appreciated. Larry Rymal in East Texas <Z4648252@SFAUSTIN.BITNET>
