Subject: boot problem with Seagate ST 157 N

Hello Netlanders,
we have a problem booting from a Seagate ST 157N Hard Drive (with SCSI on
board) connected to the ST with an original SH 204 Host Adaptor.
Everything works right, if we start the AHDI Driver (Vers. 1.7) from Floppy,
but the system refuses to read the boot sector on startup from the HD (TOS
Vers. 1.4). Are there any differences between the DMA-read in the boot-code
and in the driver? We tried both HDINSTALL and HDBOOT.
Thanks for any advice]

Try setting the HD to an even SCSI setting (0,2,4) Seagates seem to have
a problem with odd SCSI numbers with the ST.
