Hello folks, The more that I use NeoDesk 2.04, the more I positively enjoy the program. A very handy feature is the AUTOEXECUTION of programs feature that NeoDesk does after it loads itself during bootup. Example: QAUTOST.PRG. This program was graciously released into the NET and instructions advise that the program should be placed into the /AUTO/ folder. However, doing this resulted in my having to struggle with reshuffling the files and all of that. I discovered that QAUTOST.PRG works perfectly when run from the desktop. Ah! Using the AUTOEXECUTION feature of NeoDesk, I assigned QAUTOST.PRG to be run from that mode rather than the /AUTO/ folder. Nice! Works great. Speed tests indicate a significant increase of GEMDRAW. All of this from a simple type in command and save of NeoDesk's desktop.inf file. None of this shuffling files out of the /AUTO/ folder and reshuffling them back. Now, when I boot the system up, NeoDesk comes up and then QAUTOST.PRG comes up. Very handy feature, folks. Larry Rymal in East Texas <Z4648252@SFAUSTIN.BITNET>
