I have a problem with Flash 1.6 and scandinavian characters. You see, they don't work well together. I have 100% english Mega-ROMs and I use the output of Simon Poole's KEYEDIT.PRG to convert the keyboard layout to my liking. That includes the scandinavian characters being on their proper places and not looking like brackets and a bar. Now when I use Flash and it's Atari mode and fiddle with translation table, all is fine and the keyboard and the screen output is just as I want it. But it all changes when I move to ANSI-mode... No scandinavian characters at all with translation table! But If I turn the trans. table off, it starts working...sort of. When I type, the characters are what they should be, but when I receive stuff, the scand characters are brackets and a bar ( { and } and | ), not real scandinavian characters ( a with 2 dots over it, a with circle over it, o with 2 dots over it ) anymore! This would be simple to fix with translation table, but it's useless in ANSI-mode! Can anybody explain why? Someone from Antic out there? P.S Uniterm behaves very nicely under these same conditions... 8-) """"""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""" Lea 'LadyBug' Viljanen ____ University of Helsinki, Finland viljanen@finuha.bitnet \ / .
