Subject line says it all, really. I have written a limited driver for the deskjet+ that does bold/italic etc, but without the EPSON emulation cartridge, I don't think that 1stword's driver spec will allow description of the deskjet's graphics commands. Also, when I set up commands for horizontal/vertical tabs, the results were that the deskjet printer locked up printing garbage. Finally, the placeholders (any value over 0x80) seem to be coded such that it is impossible to send chars-per-inch data down as ascii strings if the cpi figure has 2 or more characters.
