I wrote for information about the Atari Portfolio and was sent an advance order form. If you want to order one, here's the address: Atari Corporation Advance Purchase P.O. Box 61657 Sunnyvale, CA 94088 Pricing information: Portfolio w/128K RAM and 256K ROM $399.95 Software includes word processing, Lotus-compatible spreadsheet, appointment calendar, phone database, autodialer. Ram cards: 32K $79.95 64K $129.95 128K $199.95 Smart parallel Centronics interface $49.95 Serial interface (RS-232) $79.95 Memory expander plus (256K RAM memory + second card drive) $229.95 PC Memory Card drive (Read/write memory cards with a PC Avail 10/1). $99.95 AC Adapter-117V $9.95 AC Adapter-220V $9.95 All I know about this is the brochure Atari sent me, which duplicates the information in the Byte magazine article, and the above information. Obviously, I'm not responsible if you order the computer and it takes a long time to show up, or anything like that. The cover letter says Portfolios are in release in Europe now, as was reported here a while ago. American units are in production. It says they will ship in September. -- J

Better make sure you 'Attn:' the proper one. That PO Box number is the general mail box for the entire company. Most everything marked 'Atari' flows through there and there is a chance your order will be slowed even more than it should while it works its way from one dept to another looking for a home. Dan

The address I gave is the exact address from the order form. There is no department information or anything else. -- J
