I would appreciate help with a program called ST_ACCEL by a Jack Tram. Supposedly it will adjust the speed of your ST from 1-200%. It claims to cause an internal change in the M68000 chip, which seems a little strange to me, but I thought that it might play really play around with OS calls a little to change the speed. I've tried it out, and it does absolutely nothing, either in the mega TOS or in TOS 1.4, either slowing down or speeding up in any way. Perhaps the program is a harmless joke, perhaps it actually does _something_ on the older TOS's, or perhaps it has tried to infect my system with a virus (no disk activity, though, but I will format a floppy after running it and check for problems). If you know anything about this, please respond both to the newsgroup and directly to me, since I don't get the news for 4 or 5 days. David Megginson
