[comp.sys.atari.st] Desperately need information on Berkeley BMS100 SCSI interface

Help!

I need any information on the Berkeley BMS100 SCSI interface !

It says that with an Adaptec 4000 it can handle a maximum of TWO drives.
Are there controllers that can handle more with this?

Also it says the maximum formatted capacity of a drive it can use is 64MB.
I assume this is PER drive, right? So I can have 2 40 MB drives ?

It says its maximum transfer speed is 625KB/sec average, 900KB/src peak
If I want a fast seeking hard drive, what is the fastest ms seek rate that
I can buy that will not be wasted by the controller's transfer rate?

I am buying a drive on Monday, I know it is a rush, but would appreciate any
help!

I am not that aware of the technical aspects of hard drives (as you can tell:-)

			Thanks in advance,
						Chris
