Hello. I'm new to the Net and am very glad to now have access to some decent information about the events in Atariland. I have a strange problem with my clock on my Mega2. After setting the clock and then rebooting, the ST comes back with a date of 0/00/00 and 12:00 time. I've switched the batteries twice (I now they are good since I checked them on my walkman.) I've opened up the computer to check the cabling and that seems fine. I am using a control panel that came on an earlier Mega ST language disk but I don't think that that's the problem. BTW, the clock works fine until rebooting. If anybody has any suggestions, I sure could use them. A TOS 1.4 note: I called the two dealers nearest me and neither of them have the wonderful new rainbow baby and both said it wasn't out yet. However, since reading the Net I know that isn't true. This is probably one of the benefits of living in New England, the land that Atari hates. (My favorite dealer closed down and he was over an hours drive away.) Thanks. -- mjv@iris.brown.edu
