I tried using STDCAT 4.3 and ran into problems when I tried to print my catalog. Everytime I tried to print disk #34, it returns to the desktop with 4 bombs. The same thing happens when I click on disk #34 to view its directory. I don't think it's a disk problems since I can succesfully copy the catalog file without any errors. I've also tried a new catalog file with the same result. Using STDCAT 4.0 to read the catalog file from 4.3, results in 3 bombs. When I created a new catalog file with 4.0, the same 3 bombs result when selecting or printing disk #34. I deleted a disk before #34 (#11 to be exact) and found that I could now access disk #33 which used to be #34. But, the new disk #34 (used to be 35) now gives bombs. Is this a bug, incompatibility or hardware problem? I have a 6 month old 1040stf which came with the "mega" roms, running in high rez mode. Regards, Marcelino Bernardo mbernar@erenj.bitnet
