I heard a rumour that Borland offered Atari US a fully English version
of Turbo C for something like $1m. They have no interest in marketing
it themselves in a small market like the NA ST market. Of course, you
can imagine that Atari US was not ready to dig deep for a single ST
program. Can anyone from Atari US confirm or deny?
By the way, will the German distributor ship to NA? If some clever
soul would publish an English book on how to use Turbo C (not, mind
you, a translation), perhaps we could make do with a German version.
Personally, I don't mind reading German anyway.
