[comp.sys.atari.st] ST Flowcharting program wanted

covertr@force.UUCP (Richard E. Covert) (10/25/89)

This message is really meant for folks over in England
or Europe.

Does anyone know of a good flowcharting CASE type program
for the ST?? I want something that I can use to make flowcharts
in high rez (using the ST monochrome monitor) and then print out
on the Atari SLM804 laser printer. Even a GDOS based program
would be acceptable as I have a 4 meg Mega st. I program in C
and really need something like that. A program to gnerate data
flow diagrams would be nice also.

I read in a UK magazine about such a program, but my local dealer
hasn't been able to get any info about it.

Please post the program name, features, and publisher so that I
can buy it.

If there isn't a ST program, does anyone know of a Macintosh program
that would work on the GBS Spectre software?? and that generates PostScript
output files (the only way to get decent printouts on the SLM804 with
Spectre is to dump them as PS files and then export them to ST, and then
to print them out with UltraScript.).

Thanks very much.

I followed up the original article and spoke to the author (Micro-Ed?).
The product is 'imminent', and should be released this year. He sent me
some 'sample' output and it was first class. Usenet is at work, and
the address is at home. If you are interested, E-MAil me your Snail
Mail address and I'll pass it (them) on to the author. A Sussex firm.

Incidentally, all you netters out there, I have historically had
problems mailing to (eg) UUCP. I have hsitorically NOT had problems
mailing as a direct reply to a net article. HOwever, for the first
time ever, my email posting direct to the author of the original
request bounced. Can someone explain?
