The comparison I gave of Mega and Mac SE prices were both corporate and both Canadian prices. Someone replied to me that one option would be to buy a third party RAM upgrade for a 1040ST. In the business environment, keyboard systems are looked down on (I do not make the rules, just live by them) and the Mega 'looks' like a business machine. The single biggest problem with Atari systems (hey, do not flame me, I sell Atari systems) is the high cost of hard disks. When a 1040ST with a Megafile 30 costs $1800 and a TURBO XT clone with 30 meg drive costs $999, it's tough to convince the neophyte buyer that the extra bucks are worth it. Hey, most people I deal with as potential buyers have NO background in computing and it's just impossible to explain the advantages to someone who is intimidated by computers. I think the 1040ST + 30 meg drive should be in the $1200 - $1300 range Mega 2 + 60 $1800 - $2000 range if I am going to compete (especially with a slogan Power Without the Price)
