A post on this net suggested that WordPerfect for the Atari ST
had dropped support and that the ATari Laser was also not being
supported.
Both statements are not at all correct.
WordPerfect released during August 89, the latest and FASTEST of
their ST upgrades. The new release supports, on an optional basis,
either an IBMish file selector for all file calls and maintenance, or
the ST version, meaning that the user can use any of the excellant
and superior file selectors available in the PD/SHAREWARE and commercial
outlets.
The new WordPerfect ST has corrected bugs that would show during
multiple print jobs and the print preview function, such as it is, does
work well. New printer drivers have been added, especially for the
Hewlett Packard system, including the DeskJet series and there are
various Diablo configurations for emulating into the Atari laser.
    Other new features include:

1. Running word count during spell checks.
2. Available disk space can be seen in the LIST FILEs area.
3. Searching has been expanded to include all three types of hypens.
4. Ultrascript is supported.
5. Improved PostScript printer support for extended characters has
   been added.
