The Ctex has | both plain Tex and LaTex in it and it's zooed files so all the directory are | presevered. I do not have access to FTP but some kind soul already got the above for me. I am having trouble getting CTeX to run. First of all, it does not echo anything to the console; all goes to a file called TEXPUT.LOG. So I never know if it's asking me a question. Here's the output produced: This is Common TeX, Version 2.9 (preloaded format=lplain 88.10.15) 0 ^L^@^C 2028 00:00 **&LPLAIN A:/SAMPLE.TEX ! Emergency stop. <*> &LPLAIN A:/SAMPLE.TEX ! End of file on the terminal No pages of output. If anyone has any suggestions I would sure appreciate them, posted or e-mailed. It seems that the version I have comes from Jwahar R. Bammi by way of Howard Chu.
