Very interesting!  Other than resetting the seek rate and using your
formatter are there any bugs that prevent general use?  I.e., can all
WD1772s take the doubled frequency?  Does Spectre GCR work?  Can you
still set the seek rate low enough (12 msec for 6 actual) to
accomodate 5.25" 360K (IBM) floppies?  Do normal formatters work for
lower densities?  Or would we have to switch the 1772 clock (or the chip 8^))
all the time to do all that?
