I wrote them, asking a few tech questions and asked for an update. Nothing returned, except their new catalog. :-( Tom Harker told me in February (at CeBIT in Hannover) that they'd be in Usenet soon ... I asked around here on the net, but noone would/could send me a copy. A well-meaning netter informed me that ICD restricts distribution of new drivers to GEnie, Compu$erve and their own BBS. He told me that in his opinion, the software was worth the d/l fee. I estimate d/l costs from Germany to be about $90, so I didn't follow his advice. :-) Unfortunately, I couldn't get email back to him. The German distributor for ICD, Herr Weide in Hilden, W.Germany employs a bunch of idiots who don't know a hard disk from a hard hat (no smile here). Strangely enough, there's an old version of that same software freely avail- able on one of the non-BITNET servers (forgot which one). >4). That's why I want it. Will I ever get it?
